Some even take a splash under the cascading falls.

Tourist info;

The Siege of Lydenburg was carried out by the Boer Republic in 1881. The British fell after 84 days. The Dutch name Lydenburg, "Town of suffering" has nothing to do with the Siege, but refers to many Boers dying of malaria fewer. The area is malaria free. They were bitten elsewhere during their Trek. The towns name was changed to Mashishing.

The Kruger is massive in size, more than 400 km's from south to north with lots of tar and gravel roads. We do not follow a particular route. We normally enter via Phabeni Gate and exit through the Kruger or Numbi gate.
Convenience stops are made every 2 hours at either main camps or picnic spots where hot food and beverages can be bought.

Enjoy game viewing at it's best with the Big 5 roaming free, not to mention hundreds of bird specie including raptors like the Bateleur, Tawny, Crowned hawked, Marshall and Brown Snake eagle, to mention but a few. During a typical day in the Kruger Park we will see general plains game like giraffe, zebras, impala, wildebeest, and buffalo. The main river around Skukuza and many of the watering holes teams with crocodile and hippos. Other predators like leopard, lion, cheetah, hyena and wild dogs are often seen in the area. Rest assure you are in the best place to see at least 3 of the Big 5 namely lion, leopard and elephants.

We cannot guarantee any particular animal sighting.
